ONCE UPON A TIME, THERE WAS A DISNEY PRINCESS WHO THREW IT ALL IN FOR FAME, FASHION AND THE SECRET SERVICE

Anne Hathaway was once so wholesome, she’d put an edamame bean to shame. But tossing her Disney tiara aside, Hollywood’s nice girl has fi nally broken from the U-rated mould fashioned by her early career.

She has flashed her bits in Brokeback

Mountain, been tempted by the world of fashion in The Devil Wears Prada and reprised the role of Agent 99 from 60s television series Get Smart, alongside funny man Steve Carell.

But don’t expect her to go rock ‘n’ roll just yet. After all, she dumped Italian businessman Raffaello Follieri when he was arrested for fraud and conspiracy. And there isn’t any nip and tuck action for her either. Despite struggling with insecurities (crazy, we know) she is now happy with her ‘imperfections’ (she doesn’t like her nose). Which is helpful when you’re the face of beauty giant Lancôme.

We will, however, see a darker side in Bride Wars, an upcoming rom com with Kate Hudson, about two best friends who become rivals when they schedule their weddings on the same day (for release in January). Looks like there’s no more Miss Nice Gal. For now.
